LCD Logic board arrives and works great!

So while I wait for the new main PCBs the logic board for the LCD that translates the serial communication from the microprocessor in to a useable signal for the LCD has arrived.  Works great and is very tiny.  Here are a few pics.

Well after messing with the code some I’ve gotten the screen to run at 250,000 baud, aka very fast and that speeds up the entire code, which allows everything to work fast and be more responsive, also you can make some pretty cool sound effects with the increase in speed, 8 bit sounds that sound like they came out of an Atari!  I’ll post some later!

    hey there

What is this serial -> LCD board that you are using? I currently am looking for a good one. Yours is indeed tiny. What size screen does it support?

Right now 16×2 displays, but it should have no problem with a 20×4, though I don’t have one to try it on.
