*Fanfare* It’s here and it works (mostly)

Well finally the revised PCB is here I put one together last night (Sorry no pics yet) and it works!  There is only one issue, the filter was wired incoretly so it doesn’t work, all you get is full output but that’s OK for now since I don’t consider this Version 1 and full out is better then none.  I might try to implement a fix with some hand wiring but need to get a bit thinner wire for that.

I also found a couple components that weren’t really need so those can be removed reducing cost and easier assembly.

I do think the new size is much better, the potentiometers are much better supported and has more room between them and the step buttons.  I’ve also added in 3 mounting holes for anyone that wants to be ambitious and make a case or even just a base as touching certain traces on the back cause the unit to reboot.

After a bit of testing I’ll be moving on to the next phase, also I get some pics up tonight with a new sound sample.

Not on this version since the processor has no multi-tasking ability I’d have to add a second chip to process the audio for a portamento, but it’s still on the list and since the chips are cheap it doesn’t do much for cost
